Terms of Use
1. What this is.
This page administers a free, eligibility-based community distribution to wallets that held $JBM on Base at a snapshot block, and a separate documented program for artists on the published contribution roll. Nothing is sold here. No payment is requested or accepted at any step. Signing proves ownership of your wallet and nothing more: it grants no approvals, moves no funds, and creates no ongoing permission. This is a claim program, not an exchange, conversion, or redemption of any token, and no token is accepted from you in return.
2. What this is not.
The token is intended to support cultural participation in the Jungle Bay Island community. Token ownership does not provide equity, governance, voting, revenue-sharing, redemption, or ownership rights in any company, treasury, intellectual property, or project asset. Any community feedback process is advisory unless expressly stated otherwise. The token is distributed with no promise of profit, no promise of price, and no promise of returns from anyone's efforts. If you are looking for an investment, do not claim.
3. Eligibility and allocations.
Eligibility is based solely on a historical snapshot of $JBM holdings at a block announced after it was taken. Allocations were fixed at the snapshot and committed publicly before registration opened; you can verify your allocation against the published commitment on the receipts page. Allocations cannot be changed after the commitment. Eligibility and allocation size are not conditioned on any purchase, payment, service, social-media activity, referral, or continued holding of any token.
4. Registration and window.
Registration is open for 90 days from the date the claim page opens, which will be announced on the receipts page. Register a Solana address you control. Do not use an exchange deposit address; use a wallet you hold the keys to. You may update your registered address until your distribution cohort is processed; after that it is final. Allocations not registered within the window are transferred to the Creator Endowment, which funds artist grants, and are no longer claimable.
5. Delivery.
Your full allocation is delivered in a single distribution to your registered address when your cohort is processed. Every distribution is visible onchain. Network conditions may delay a distribution; a delayed distribution will be completed as promptly as practicable.
6. Verification, false claims, and wallet issues.
Registration requires cryptographic proof of wallet control and completion of applicable compliance screening. False, duplicate, or fraudulent claims are void. You are solely responsible for the security of your wallets. If your registered wallet is compromised, notify seacasamemes@gmail.com. Distributions already delivered cannot be reversed, and the project cannot recover keys or reassign allocations for lost wallet access except as required by law.
7. Compliance.
Registrations and distributions are screened against applicable sanctions designations, at registration and again before distribution. The project may deny, delay, or withhold registration or distribution where required to comply with sanctions or other applicable law. The claim page is not available to persons located in, organized under the laws of, or ordinarily resident in: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, the Crimea, Donetsk, or Luhansk regions of Ukraine, non-government-controlled areas of the Zaporizhzhia or Kherson regions of Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, China, Afghanistan, or Myanmar.
8. Taxes.
Receiving tokens may be a taxable event in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for your own taxes. Nothing on this page is tax advice.
9. Fees, risk, and finality.
You are responsible for any network fees your wallet incurs. Smart contracts, wallets, and networks carry inherent risk. Verify your registered address in full before signing. Distributions are final once processed. The page and the program are provided as is, without warranty of any kind, and the project's liability arising out of the program is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10. General.
The project may modify these terms before your registration is submitted; the terms in effect at your registration govern your claim. These terms are the entire agreement for use of the claim page. Governing law: the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes: exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.
